Elevator speech!

The first thing I noticed when reviewing my speech was that I was very fidgety with my hands. I managed to stand still in the same spot, but moved my hands in a nervous manor a lot. I also noticed that I was speaking softly. I may need to raise my voice level during my next speech. I noticed that my stance in my speech was very tense. This was probably due to being nervous. Also with my arms being crossed across my body, that gives off the appearance of being closed off. My arms should have been at my side or more in a relaxed inviting manor. During my speech I noticed that my face was very tense during my speech. I should have been more relaxed within my facial expressions which is something I need to work on in the future!
I noticed that compared to other speeches I have given I spoke in a calm clear manor. I talked at a rate that was easy for people to understand, when normally when I am nervous I talk faster then is liked. I also noticed that I kept good eye contact with my partner and remembered to smile frequently during my speech. I also noticed that my speech did not seem rehearsed for the most part. There was someone words that I used that I do not think would come up in my normal conversation, but it did not seem as though my speech had been practiced, it was natural sounding.
Compared to speeches that I have given in the past to other classes, I did feel relaxed for the most part going into this speech. I felt that I was well prepared. I was a little uncomfortable with the thought of having to talk about myself, but I knew it was necessary for this speech and that the information that I had prepared for this speech will come in handy in the near future.
